Tuck the wires into the outlet box. Complete any additional necessary assembly instructions included in your product packaging to ensure wall shading. Screw incandescent bulbs in the fixtures. Pick a style that will go with the design of your space. If you’re thinking about a modern look, try metal details on the fixture or look for crystal wall sconces with atypical shapes. For a traditional design, shop a shot with a spring-shaped fixture and a glass or ceramic shade. Consult a qualified electrician if you are not sure of the installation instructions.

Do not twist threads together before using cable connectors. Insert a wire connector over the wires and screw the plug clockwise until there is a fixed connection. Gently pull the plug outside the wires. Connect the earth cable from the fixture (if any) with the ground wire from the electrical box using a small wire connector or by winding these two wires around a grounding screw on the mounting bar.
